Superb team performance from the Suncroft ladies today to overcome a very strong towers team in the final. Suncroft were well on top from the throw in and ahead by five points despite kicking a good number of wides. Towers dug deep and with two excellently converted goals and a point went into the break two points up. Suncroft started the second half strong and in this half, with the help of the bench, maintained an edge over towers for the half. Half way through the half Suncroft had built up a nine point lead but Towers threw everything at it and brought Suncrofts lead back to five points with five minutes to go. Suncroft repelled the pressure and tacked on two more points before the ref brought matters to conclusion. Congratulations to team and management for a superb performance.
