Great evening had in Suncroft this evening. The important stuff like chicken curry, rice, chips, sausages, coke, orange, crisps, conversation and chocolates, coffee and cake for the drivers. Then the legendary Anthony Rainbow presented the medals to the U16 Ladies for their League win and the U16 Lads for their Championship win.
The ladies league final was a fantastic game of point for point football. Down by a point in the final seconds only to converted a long distant free to take it to extra time. Point for point in extra time and in the last minutes, when everyone were on their feet, the Croft girls wanted it more and delivered. The lads final was similar, point for point. Down by a couple of points with five minutes to go, but they found what was needed and dug out the win.
