Suncroft were well represented at the Kildare LGFA 2017 end of season awards on Saturday with eight girls from the club. Orla McDonald, Lara Prendergast & Grace Farrell were there as part of the County U12 panel that came out on top in both Leinster Blitz's. Congratulations to Orla McDonald was also awarded the Cill Dara U12 Player of the year. Taylor Hughes was there as part of the County U14 panel that reached the Leinster semifinal.
Aislinn Dooley & Eve Kehoe were there as part of the County U16 panel that won Leinster and went on to reach the all Ireland final. Eve Kehoe was also awarded the Kildare U16 Player of the year. Nicole Dooley and Carla Ennis were there as part of the County minor team that reached the Leinster final. Nicole Dooley was captain. On the County senior ladies front the new management team has made some selections following a series of trials. Congratulations to Trina Duggan, Ellen Dowling, Muireann Fagan and Rebecca McGuirk who have all made it through. Congratulations to all and we are all ready looking forward to an exciting 2018.
