Cracking game of fast moving, high scoring, football today between Suncroft and Moorefield. First half was well balanced with Moorefield leading at the break by three points but with help of a strong breeze. Moorefield started the second half strongly, and had built their lead up to fourteen points, 4:08(20) to 0:06(6), before Suncroft got back into the game. Suncroft owned the last twelve minutes and scored three goals and two points and held Moorefield to a single point in the same period. In the end good goalkeeping and the clock running out secured the win for Moorefield, Moorefield 4:09(21), Suncroft 3:08(17). Minor Summer League C shield final.
