Suncroft GFC received the award of Club of the year 2016 by Kildare Ladies county board and our ambitions don't stop there. In 2016 two hundred and forty players took to the field for fun, training and matches (204 youngsters and 36 over eighteens, 90 ladies, 150 lads) and teams were fielded in all competitions at all ages. The success of the senior ladies’ team was the highlight of the year but teams and players are improving and becoming more competitive at all levels.
In 2017 we hope to increase player numbers, improve our football and to have fun doing it. With this in mind were currently putting plans in place for 2017 and beyond.
We are looking for you to join our existing team of volunteers. If you are interested in getting involved now is a perfect time to let us know.
We are looking for people to help us with coaching, mentoring, team management, project management, financial planning, administrators, player welfare and indeed anyone who has an hour or two a week to spare to put into the youth of the community.
