Hard luck to the U14 ladies who lost their Division 4 League final to Rathcoffee last week. Suncroft 4:03, Rathcoffey 10:06.
The girls put in a great performance but Rathcoffey got on top early in the game and despite Suncroft’s every effort Rathcoffey held on to their lead throughout the game, got a few goals near the end, and finished deserving winners.
This team struggled a bit in 2015 but with every game they improved and improved and it was a great achievement to make the final. The team never gave up, fought to the end.
The overall Suncroft the panel was made up of U10's, U11's, U12's, U13's and U14's. There is great potential in the team for next year as 20 of the 25 girls will still be U14.
