Suncroft made short work of Ellistown with strong performances across the team (0:02 - 4:06).
Suncroft then had a fairly handy game against Celbridge and managed to hold them scoreless (0:00 - 4:08).
Kill then put up a good challenge but again the Suncroft girls proved to be too strong and ended up winning by ten points (2:02 - 4:06).
The final game against Raheen proved to be a different story as Raheen were extremely strong and managed to break through the defence a few times for goals. With around 7 minutes to go Raheen had a 7 point lead but in those 7 minutes the Suncroft girls set the example for all teams for the season.
They fought like tigers for every ball, the never gave up, inch by inch the team worked their way back into the game. Every one of the player ingnored the tirdness and the aching limbs and by the time the final whistle was blown they had a 2 point lead (4:02-3:07).
A performance the players, parents and the Club can be very very proud of.
